Marketing Specialist
About the job
We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who has seen robust growth before and knows what it takes to get there again. Even more importantly, they want to go on such a rewarding journey and leave their finger prints over it.
This is not a “manage the status quo” role. You’ll take ownership of marketing at Sollit and push it to the next level. You’ll work directly with the CEO, be deeply connected to sales, and combine strategy + execution every day. No large team, no layers, just impact.
On Monday, you might stand at an event talking to existing clients and new prospects for the Netherlands. While on Tuesday you are working with your colleagues from Spain on how to scale our community more in the coming year. Wednesday morning starts with a client visit and a discussion of recent news articles about oil prices and how renewable energies are essential moving forward. Well, this got your creativity in overdrive and by Thursday you have a small campaign written out. Friday you talk with partners about your idea and have a webinar scheduled for next week. Friday afternoon you wrap up the week, analyze the data provided by an external agency and right before you go enjoy some well deserved rest, you get a call from the client you spoke to on Wednesday, thanking you for the great collaboration.

What You’ll Own
Scaling demand generation
Take what’s already working and scale it (content, events, campaigns)
Build new growth channels from scratch
Improve lead quality, volume, and conversion together with sales
Finding what’s next
Identify new opportunities in the Dutch market
Experiment fast: test, learn, double down. You have an out of the box idea, be sure to try it out quickly.
Bring structure to growth instead of random initiatives, including measurable results
Building an international brand
Help position Sollit beyond the Netherlands( Belgium,Germany and Spain)
Translate local success into scalable messaging
Improve the foundation for international marketing to ensure cross country successes and learnings
Running marketing end-to-end
Own campaigns, content, website, and funnel performance
Work with external partners (agencies, freelancers)
Keep things moving without needing a big team but you also do not have to do it alone
About you
Worked in a B2B SaaS or tech company that scaled (and saw what changed along the way)
Owned or heavily contributed to demand generation and growth
Been in a role where you had to figure things out, not just execute a playbook
Bonus: Experience working with Hubspot. You have worked in the industry before.
You are:
Hands on: you execute, not just plan
Commercially sharp:you understand clients not just pipeline or amount of leads. Especially in our sectors a good understanding of the clients is essential to make a difference
Structured in chaos: you bring clarity where things are still evolving
Passionate about renewable energy (you don’t need to know it yet, but you’re willing to learn fast and you enjoy the topics)
Fluent communication in Dutch and English. Spanish or German are a plus.
